Het ministerie van Justitie verklaarde drie steden “anarchiezones”, zodat president Donald Trump kan proberen federale fondsen op te nemen voor Portland, Seattle en New York City.
Historicus Joanne Freeman legde uit dat New York City niet in een staat van anarchie verkeert, maar dat is niet het punt van procureur-generaal Bill Barr. Hij en Trump willen gewoon elke oppositie tegen de regering bestraffen.

Tijdens het weekend genoten velen van het weer in parken en hadden brunches en uitstapjes op sociaal afstand door de stad. Het zorgde voor een hilarische scène, aangezien procureur-generaal Bill Barr dergelijk gedrag ‘anarchie’ noemde.
